Mommy's little helper

So, Evan loves to help me in the kitchen. We love to make goodies together and of course he loves to sample everything. Whenever we cook together he asks me after we add each ingredient, "Should I taste it yet?". Even when its just butter and sugar I catch him sneaking a taste- yuck, but he seems to love it! He is so much fun!

Sarah's Smiles

I think it is so fun when babies start smiling! In the last few weeks, Sarah has started smiling a lot more. We love to try to make her smile. Evan and I try to make up new songs and do all kinds of crazy things to try and get a smile out of her, but a lot of the time she just looks at us like we're crazy, but we love to try anyway! Then, of course, as soon as her daddy picks her up she smiles and smiles. She's definitely going to be a daddy's girl. She also seems like she's going to be a little more serious than Evan. More of a thinker and a little more calm, which is funny because she's the one with red hair! But I'm definitely not complaining. Evan has way more than enough energy...it's nice to have a calmer one. We sure love her and are so blessed to have another baby in our family.

I kept trying to catch her smiling with the camera, but she kept sticking out her tongue. Silly girl!

Our little Easter Bunny

One of Kenneth's students gave us the bunny hat and bunny slippers as a gift when Sarah was born. She sure makes a cute little Easter Bunny.

Attempting to take pictures...

So, a couple of weeks ago I decided to take some pictures of Evan and Sarah and wow was that interesting to say the least! I feel for those photographers now. Catching a newborn with her eyes open, not crying and actually looking at the camera is next to impossible. Making a three-year old sit still through several pictures while trying to make him smile was impossible! They were not happy-but darnit I was going to get some good pictures of them! Evan insisted on not wearing his shoes and on having some cars in the pictures. Anyway, after the hiccups, screams, cries and tons of pictures later, these are just a few of what we came up with. :)
